E-CLIK SUPPORT
Error codes &
troubleshooting.
Find your symptom, check the connections, and identify the next step for your E-CLIK system.
Find your symptom.
Start with the general checks, then open the section that matches what your system is doing.
Start here: E-CLIK is not working
- Check the ECU Main Plug Harness and all connections to the other harnesses. Connectors are color coded: a black male connector must connect to a black female connector. A common installation issue is connecting a DT 4-pin gray male connector to a DT 4-pin black female connector.
- Inspect the internal pins and sockets in each connector. Secure each connection until it clicks, then perform a light pull test.
- Check the Power Harness fuse tap. It must contain two fuses: the E-CLIK 15A fuse in the top slot and the original fuse in the bottom slot. Check that both fuses are good.
- Confirm the fuse tap is installed on an ignition-on powered source.
Shock Output Display stays at “10” on all corners
- Make sure Ignition is on and engine is running.
- Confirm the Data Harness OBD2 connection is correctly plugged into the vehicle.
- If another OBD2 device is connected, test whether E-CLIK works with only E-CLIK connected.
- Test the Data Harness at the DT 6-pin black male connector: measure resistance between pin #5 (white/green — vehicle CAN Low) and pin #6 (green — vehicle CAN High). The expected value is approximately 60 ohms. If it is not around 60 ohms, SDi recommends replacing the Data Harness.
Shock Output Display stays at “0” on all corners
- Confirm the touchscreen M12 5-position connector is correctly installed. Refer to the Touch Screen Instructions included in the E-CLIK box.
- Check ECU power at the Power Harness DT 4-pin black male connector. Measure voltage between pin #1 (black — GND) and pin #2 (red — constant +12V). The expected value is +12V.
- Check touchscreen data communication. Measure resistance between pin #4 (blue — CAN High) and pin #5 (white — CAN Low) of the touchscreen M12 5-position connector. The expected value is 60 ohms.
- If the issue persists, contact SDi for additional troubleshooting.
Touchscreen does not save tuning settings
- Check that the other touchscreen features function properly: tilt angles should change when the IMU sensor is moved, and an error code should appear when a shock harness is disconnected.
- If these features do not work, follow the “Shock Output Display stays at 0 on all corners” section.
- If the issue persists, contact SDi for additional troubleshooting.
Touchscreen brightness is too low
- If the display functions but is difficult to read, move to lighting conditions that allow you to see the screen. Navigate to the brightness icon and increase the display brightness above 0%.
- If the issue persists, contact SDi for additional troubleshooting.
High shock output numbers on one side, low numbers on the other
- Park the vehicle on level ground. Open the tilt angle screen and confirm the angles read 0 degrees.
- If the angles do not read 0 degrees, adjust the IMU sensor orientation using the two side screws and a 4mm Allen key.
- If the IMU is installed properly, a CAN bus issue may be responsible. Contact SDi for additional troubleshooting.
Touchscreen does not power on
- Check the ECU Main Plug Harness connections, connector colors, internal pins and sockets. Each connection should click into place and pass a light pull test. Black male connectors must connect to black female connectors.
- Check the Power Harness fuse tap: E-CLIK 15A fuse in the top slot, original fuse in the bottom slot, both fuses good, and the tap connected to an ignition-on powered source.
- With vehicle ignition ON, measure voltage between pin #1 (black — GND) and pin #3 (blue — ignition-on +12V) of the Power Harness DT 4-pin black male connector. If the reading is outside 10–14V, SDi recommends Power Harness replacement.
- If that reading is 10–14V, measure voltage between pin #2 (red — ignition-on +12V) and pin #3 (black — GND) of the touchscreen M12 5-position male connector.
- If the touchscreen connector reading is 10–14V, the touchscreen may be defective and requires further evaluation through SDi Engineering.
- If the touchscreen connector reading is outside 10–14V, test ground continuity between the black ground ring terminal at the vehicle battery and pin #3 (black — GND) of the touchscreen M12 5-position male connector. Narrow down where ground continuity fails. SDi recommends replacing the affected harness if harness damage is found.
Error code 5000: IMU sensor
- Confirm the IMU sensor AMPSEAL16 6-pin male connector is installed correctly and all terminal sockets are seated correctly.
- With vehicle ignition ON, measure voltage between pin #3 (black — GND) and pin #6 (red — ignition-on +12V) at the IMU sensor connector. The expected value is +12V.
- Measure resistance between pin #1 (blue — CAN High) and pin #2 (white — CAN Low). The expected value is 60 ohms.
- If either reading is incorrect, the IMU sensor harness may be damaged. SDi recommends Data Harness replacement.
- If both readings are correct, the IMU sensor may be defective and requires further evaluation through SDi Engineering.
Error codes 90xx: shocks
- Refer to the error code reference below to identify the affected circuit. Confirm each shock harness connector is properly connected to its shock.
- Swap the solenoid coil from left to right and check whether the error code follows it. For example, if code 9000 (front left) changes to 9004 (front right), the solenoid coil needs replacement.
- If the error code stays the same, SDi recommends replacing the affected front or rear shock harness.
Ford Raptor / Bronco Raptor: Drive Modes Unavailable
- Reinstall the stock Vehicle Dynamics Module (VDM), located on the outside of the frame rail. This disconnects E-CLIK completely from the vehicle.
- If drive modes remain unavailable with the stock VDM installed, check the vehicle fuse box for damaged fuses. On Bronco Raptor, a defective sway bar control module fuse can cause this issue.
- If drive modes become available with the stock VDM installed, follow the “Shock Output Display stays at 0 on all corners” section.
RZR Pro R / Turbo R: Dynamix screen flickering
- Confirm the Data Harness OBD2 connection is correctly plugged into the vehicle.
- Confirm both the SCM 10A fuse and SHOCK 15A fuse are removed from the fuse box.
- If the issue persists, contact SDi for additional troubleshooting.
Error code reference.
Find the code shown on your display. For shock and IMU faults, use the troubleshooting sections above for additional checks.
Codes 9040–9047 depend on your vehicle and system.
