AUTOMATIC FRONT AND REAR SWAY BAR CONTROL

The SDI Integrated E-LINK System transforms the handling and capability of the 2024+ Can-Am Maverick R by adding intelligent electronic control to both the front and rear sway bars.

Integrated directly with E-CLIK, the system uses speed, steering input and vehicle movement to determine when the sway bars should be locked or unlocked. This gives the Maverick R increased articulation and comfort when the terrain demands it, along with greater roll resistance and stability when driving conditions become more aggressive.

Instead of stopping to manually disconnect a sway bar, E-LINK continually adapts the front and rear suspension to the selected terrain mode.

An SDI E-CLIK system is required for operation.

INTEGRATED WITH E-CLIK

E-LINK communicates directly with the SDI E-CLIK system, creating a coordinated suspension package that manages shock damping and sway bar engagement from one central controller.

The E-CLIK touchscreen serves as the control center for the system. From the touchscreen, the driver can select a terrain mode, monitor system operation or manually command the sway bars to lock or unlock.

  • Automatic front and rear sway bar control
  • Terrain-specific operation through E-CLIK
  • Manual lock and unlock controls
  • Coordinated sway bar and shock operation
  • In-cab control through the E-CLIK touchscreen

THREE TERRAIN MODES

Each E-CLIK terrain mode changes how the front and rear sway bars respond to speed, steering input and vehicle movement.

TRAIL MODE

Prioritizes articulation over technical terrain at lower speeds, then locks the sway bars when speed, steering input or vehicle movement requires additional stability.

DESERT MODE

Keeps the sway bars unlocked over chop, whoops and repeated impacts, then locks them during cornering and higher-speed maneuvers.

DUNE MODE

Remains unlocked over straight-line chop and transitions, then locks earlier and stays locked longer during carving and side-hilling.

FRONT AND REAR INTEGRATION

Controlling both sway bars allows E-LINK to manage the balance of the entire vehicle rather than changing the behavior of only one end.

When unlocked, the front and rear suspension can move more independently to improve articulation, traction and comfort. When locked, the sway bars increase roll resistance to keep the chassis flatter and more controlled during cornering, side-hilling and aggressive driving.

The result is a Maverick R that can remain compliant over rough terrain while still delivering the stability needed when speeds increase or the driver changes direction.

AUTOMATIC WHEN YOU WANT IT—MANUAL WHEN YOU NEED IT

Terrain modes allow E-LINK to automatically manage sway bar engagement, but the driver always retains direct control through the E-CLIK touchscreen.

  • Automatic Operation: E-LINK locks and unlocks the sway bars according to the selected terrain mode.
  • Manual Lock: Commands the sway bars to remain connected for maximum roll resistance and stability.
  • Manual Unlock: Commands the sway bars to remain disconnected for maximum articulation and suspension independence.

Manual control makes it easy to prepare the vehicle for a specific obstacle or driving situation without leaving the driver’s seat.

GREATER ARTICULATION AND TRACTION

Unlocking the sway bars allows the wheels to move more independently from side to side. This helps the tires maintain contact with the terrain while navigating rocks, ledges, ruts, washouts and uneven transitions.

The increased articulation can improve traction while reducing the amount of side-to-side movement transferred through the chassis and into the occupants.

STABILITY WHEN CONDITIONS CHANGE

As speed, steering input or vehicle movement increases, E-LINK can engage the sway bars to increase roll resistance. This helps keep the chassis flatter during cornering, carving and side-hilling while providing a more stable and predictable feel.

Because front and rear operation is integrated, the system can manage the complete vehicle rather than relying on one fixed sway bar configuration for every type of terrain.

COMPATIBLE WITH SMART-SHOX AND NON-SMART-SHOX MODELS

The integrated E-LINK system is compatible with both Smart-Shox and non-Smart-Shox Maverick R models, provided the vehicle is equipped with the appropriate SDI E-CLIK system.

  • Smart-Shox Models: Compatible with the SDI E-CLIK system designed to integrate with the factory electronic suspension.
  • Non-Smart-Shox Models: Compatible with the SDI E-CLIK electronic valve conversion for FOX PODIUM 2.5 front and 3.0 rear shocks.

This allows Maverick R owners to add integrated front and rear E-LINK control regardless of the vehicle’s original shock configuration.
